Zeller named instructor for Illinois' Fire Service Institute

           

            Zeller has been hired as an assistant field staff instructor for officer and cornerstone classes. The institute, one of the finest hands-on academies in the United States, helps firefighters do their work through training, education, information and research.

            Zeller has been a La Salle firefighter for eight years.

            A 1993 graduate of Illinois Valley Community College, Zeller played tennis and basketball and served as the college’s student representative to the board of trustees. He later played football and tennis at Eureka College before graduating from there in 1995.

            Zeller is the son of Dr. Frank and Fran Zeller of Peru. Brian is married to the former Katherine Riva, a registered nurse. He has a nine-year-old son, Ethan and a newborn daughter, Katherine Frances.
